Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) zone certified

The Greenwood Group is certified to participate in this program, through which the SBA provides federal contracting opportunities to firms located in “historically underutilized business zones” (HUBZone). The federal government has a 3% goal of channeling federal contracts through the HUBZone program, which equates to about $4 billion in FY01 and $6 billion in FY03. As a certified HUBZone company, The Greenwood Group has positioned itself to proactively compete in the government’s multi-billion dollar federal contracting program that increases subcontractor/ supplier value for its defense contractor clients. HUBZone contracts can be awarded on a sole source or competitive basis.
